  1. Nida says:

Can I know the list of ingredients of the Oscar de la renta (women’s) perfume please? I wanted to know if it contains any animal ingredients.

    • Linda says:

      Hi Nida,

I do not know the specific ingredients, but many perfumes have ingredients that have been tested on animals. Also many companies use ingredients that have been approved by the FDA, that may have at one stage been tested on animals. Oscar de la Renta has used ingredients that they may not have necessarily tested on animals themselves, but have used ingredients that once were.

As far as specific animal products, whether actual or derivatives of, I am unsure. I am sorry I cannot be more helpful.

  2. Nida says:

Well, I actually wanted to know if any of the ingredients were derived from animals.

    • Linda says:

      Hi Nida,

I wish I knew for sure, but I don’t. Many cosmetic companies do in fact use ingredients that are derived from animals. As for perfumes, many of their ingredients are considered proprietary, that is, they are not fully disclosed to protect their product from being copied.

If anyone knows, I would be happy to hear their comments.
